When does the season start and end?
Our seasons typically run about 8β10 weeks from start to finish.
Season schedules generally follow this structure:

We offer programs for boys and girls ages 4β17 years old.
Programs may include:

π Adult Summer Blitz - Co-Ed 18+
Athletes are separated by age and/or grade divisions to help create a fun, safe, and competitive environment for everyone. We are also actively working toward building girls-only divisions as participation continues to grow.

Registration pricing varies slightly by division, city, and season.

π Where are practices and games held?
All recreational division practices and games are held at local fields within each league community.
Specific field locations may vary from season to season as we coordinate together with local schools, Parks & Recreation departments, churches, and other youth sports organizations to secure the best possible field availability for our families.
Competitive division teams practice locally within their home community but will travel to other North County San Diego communities for games against our sister leagues and partner programs.

Recreational Division

Practice days and times may vary from season to season based on field availability. We do our best to offer at least two separate weekday practice options each season to provide flexibility for our volunteer coaches and families, although each recreational team will only practice once per week.
Typical game day schedules:
β’ Fall & Winter Seasons: typically Saturday mornings (this may vary)
β’ Spring Seasons: Friday evenings (depending on location)
Younger divisions typically receive earlier practice and game times.
Competitive Division

Final schedules are released prior to the beginning of each season.
π± How will teams communicate?
We primarily use the Stack Team App for in-season communication.
Once rosters are finalized, head coaches will contact families directly by text or email with:

Typically, coaches begin reaching out within 1 week of the first practice.
π£ Can I request teammates, coaches, or siblings?
Yes! We do our best to honor teammate, sibling, and coach requests while still maintaining balanced teams and a positive experience for all families.

Our recreational divisions are designed to create balanced teams and healthy competition throughout the season.
Competitive Division

π₯ Players register individually and request their coach/team during registration
Players may occasionally play up one division if appropriate, but players are never permitted to play down divisions for safety reasons.
π Do all players receive playing time?
Recreational Division
Yes! Recreational players are guaranteed minimum play time each game because our goal is development, confidence, and positive experiences for all athletes.
Competitive Division
Playing time is not guaranteed and may vary based on attendance, performance, effort, and coaching decisions.

Victory Youth Cheer is a fun and encouraging sideline cheer experience designed for athletes ages 4+.

You do not need prior coaching experience to become a great coach.
π I registered, but havenβt heard from anyone yet. Is that normal?
Yes! Rosters are finalized after registration closes.
Once rosters are completed:
- Coaches receive team assignments
- Coaches contact families directly
- Team communication begins
This usually occurs about 1 week before practices begin.
π€·ββοΈ What if my athlete misses a game or practice?
No problem! We understand families are busy.
Please communicate absences directly with your coach ahead of time whenever possible so they can plan accordingly.
π What should we expect on Game Day?
Game days are designed to be fun, organized, and family-friendly experiences.
Arrival Time
Players should typically arrive 20β30 minutes early for warm ups and check-in.

π Are fundraising or sponsorships required?
No. We do not require mandatory fundraising or sponsorship sales.
Our goal is to keep youth sports enjoyable and stress-free for families.
We may occasionally offer optional sponsorship or donation opportunities to help support league growth, scholarships, equipment, and families in need, but participation is completely voluntary.
π What is the Adult Summer Blitz?
Our Adult Summer Blitz is a 4-week summer flag football experience focused on football, family, fun, and community.
The program is designed for adults of all skill levels and includes:
